    GIS with Remote Desktop

We are having a difficulty accessing my ArcGIS when logged in through a Remote Desktop application. How can this be done? We are trying to give me access to my maps and such when I am at my home and need to get some info. Also to reach my info from a laptop in the field.

Another probelm is once logged in from a Remote Desktop I can not run ArcGIS until I have restarted my PC. It seems to lock me out and says it cannot find my USB stick (which I believe is my authorization from ESRI for the software.)

Thanks for any and all help!

Well i actually did some more searching and found on esri that it is a bug with 9.2.

To fix you need to uninstall the License Manager 9.2 and re-install the License Manager 9.1

    Re: GIS with Remote Desktop

well it turns out my above post did NOT fix the issue. At the end of May ESRI put out a new fix to the issue. I was contacted by ESRI Support with notification of the new DL. This has fixed my problem and I have succesfully been running my maps at house on Vista.

This link will correct VPN Remote Desktop errors and Vista errors.
